Refund policy

Happy customers are our priority and we try our best to work out any issues that may arise. Please email us at sales@silkmagnolia.com.au with any questions or concerns and we will get back to you as soon as possible. Please find our return policy below.

We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return for change of mind. To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To start a return, you can contact us at sales@silkmagnolia.com.au.  If your return is accepted, we’ll send you instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. Postage costs for change of mind items are to be covered by you the customer and you are responsible for ensuring the goods return to us. We recommend using a trackable postage option as we cannot be held responsible for any missing parcels.


Damages and issues
We pride ourselves on the quality of our beautiful products and work very hard to ensure excellent quality control. Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.  In the unlikely event that your item is in any way faulty please contact us immediately at sales@silkmagnolia.com.au for return instructions.  Once we have received your item we will inspect it and if considered faulty you may choose to have a replacement item sent out or a refund to the same method as payment was made. Faults must be reported within 30 days of purchase.

Silk is a fine, delicate fabric and needs to be treated with care.  Please read carefully our washing and care instructions and follow these. Due to the natural fibres, colour fading can be expected over time and silk should not be hung on the line in direct sunlight.  Products that have faded due to incorrect care are not considered faulty and will not be accepted as a returnable item.

Please note that the delicate nature of silk means that exceptionally rough skin may cause pilling and this will not be considered a fault and will not be eligible for a return or refund. 


Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of products cannot be returned, like perishable goods that are included in our gift boxes.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.


Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 5 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too. If more than 15 business days have passed since we’ve approved your return, please contact us at sales@silkmagnolia.com.au
